Falling leaves
They collect rain drops on them
I like to pour the water out
They can be any color
Yellow, brown, red, and pink
The pink ones are hidden
They like to hide behind other trees
by Fletcher Lee Johnson
Fletcher wrote this falling leaves poem while walking through all of the falling leaves around his house. There were so many after a rainstorm that you could barely see the ground. Fletcher had a blast kicking the leaves and splashing through the water puddles on this beautiful fall afternoon.
